I love WordPress. It’s a great piece of blogging software that gives you very rich functionality, however it’s not not fit for every situation. The mail obstacle for me is that WordPress is not in ASP.NET. I have been looking around for some time to find something that would at least get close to WP running on the windows platform, but not luck. So finally to solve my frustration, I scrambled pieces of code used on my previous projects, and put together my own ASP.NET CMS.

I have been working on a celebrity site recently. This project is far from being finished, but I am already getting a decent traffic. latest celebrity news and gossip keyword has for some mysterious reason got on the first page of yahoo, which not gets me decent amount of hits. I think I will build some kind of celebrity social bookmarking software around this who knows, maybe this whole think will take of as a major source of celebrity gossip information.
I am working a custom Tree View control using jquery. Earlier on I had to up up a fight with the .NET people about not using the Microsoft piece of x*#$, that would make everyones life easier. Anyway, since I cannot do the hidden input value trick that MS did, what are the options left? Well doing a little research around, it seems that all these are done through storing variables in cookies. Right, what a discovery. Anyway for all of you who did not get this far before, here is a little jquery plug in for creating and retreating cookies
Recently I have been reading so much stuff about web 2.0 that I have decided to start a blog dedicated to this matter. I will try to do new as often as possible to provide you with more inside into this new way of thinking about the internet. To start, read some web 2.0 definitions.
